The Garia is manufactured at the Valmet Automotive factory in Finland, manufacturer of the Porsche Cayman and Porsche Boxster. Valmet Automotive is also contracted by THINK and Fisker Automotive to manufacture environmentally friendly and innovative hybrid cars.

“We wanted to create a golf car, where the user’s experience is a key element of the design, and golf professionals worked closely together with our engineers”, says Anders Lynge, designer of The Garia and Creative Director of Garia Inc.
“We have been uncompromising in our vision to create the world’s best golf car, and everything in the design is based on extensive usability research. The Garia is essentially built according to the user’s needs. E.g. the ignition key, which operates reverse, forward, neutral and off gears, is conveniently mounted on the steering column, the cabin is larger than in traditional golf carts and provides easy entry and exit from the vehicle, and because of the golf bag holders’ unique angle it is easier to access the golf clubs and all of the pockets on the golf bags. With a strong focus on usability, quality, and luxury, The Garia is ideal for the discerning golf player.”
Craftsmanship to the highest automotive industry standards
Built to the highest standards of the automotive industry The Garia features a double wishbone front suspension similar to those found in sports cars and inspired by Formula 1 cars. The drive train is built by an Italian company that also produces Ducati gearboxes. The aluminum profiles in the frame are made by the same company that supplies aluminum profiles to Aston Martin, Jaguar and Volvo. Hydraulic brakes on all four wheels with discs in the front and drums at the rear.
